Safety Tips for Dogs
After packing the right gear, it's important to follow some key safety tips to make sure your dog's beach day is both enjoyable and hazard-free.
First, always provide fresh water and shade for your dog. The sun can be relentless, and dehydration or overheating can quickly become serious issues. Make sure your dog has a comfortable spot to cool off and drink water regularly.

- Training and Acclimatization: Gradually introduce your dog to higher altitudes and rougher terrains. Proper training will help them adapt and build the necessary stamina.
- Essential Gear: Equip your dog with harnesses, boots, and the Ruffwear Approach pack to protect their paws and carry essentials like water and treats.
